However, if you're a family with small kids, I don't recommend staying in Trastevere. As much as I love Trastevere, I have to be honest—this is not the quietest neighborhood. If you’re traveling with little ones or you’re a light sleeper, the late-night buzz might be a bit much. That said, if you’re set on staying here, look for accommodations on the quieter side streets instead of the main piazzas.
