Lago di Carezza (Karersee)
Lago di Carezza is a small stunning alpine lake with crystal clear waters that reflect the colourful nature around it, set with the panoramic background of the Latemar mountains. This lake is also known as a rainbow lake because of how beautifully it reflects its colourful surroundings. This natural beauty is called Karersee in German and is one of the most beautiful dolomite attractions.
According to a local legend, a lovesick sorcerer smashed a rainbow into the lake in a fit of anger, and that is what gives the lake its colours. Nobody is allowed to go into the lake, but you can stroll around it and admire its beauty from all sides and angles. The surroundings of the lake are flat, and so it will hardly take you around 20 minutes to take a full round. This is one of the easier and more accessible hikes in the Dolomites, and you should definitely hike this trail.

Seceda 2500m, Val Gardena

You will know you are approaching the lake when you see a row of parked cars along the main road. Finding Lago di Landro should not be a task for you. Passo Sella
